Here are a few FAQ’s…if your question is not listed, please call or email us…
We’ve been around, but have chosen to market the Eclipse on-line, thru Quilt shows & select dealers, in part, to help keep the cost down. The Maker, Art Bentely, was part of the original HandiQuilter team and designed & built the 1st three HandiQuilters.
A big difference is the electronics… Static electricity build up is a known issue in many longarm systems. The Eclipse has all the electrical components in a separate ‘Pod’ on the side & is easlily accessed by the Quilter. If something is wrong, it can be Priority mailed, repaired and returned in just a few days.
Many are falsely led that way. The Eclipse is designed for less maintenance requirements and is easily maintained by the quilter. Simple repairs can be done by ANY sew & vac shop. The enclosed ‘Sew Harp” and the electronic ‘Pod’ reduces the need for a service center.
The Grace frame carries a lifetime warranty from manufacturer’s from defects, as does the Eclipse. The ‘Pod’ carries a 20 year warranty, the 1st five years, we’ll replace it for free.* After the 1st five years, only repair parts are charged. The Pod is easily removed and mailed to the Maker for repair. Very little down time. *Postage/Priority Mail is not included.
Yes, we have an option to investigate.
If you can put together IKEA products, you can assemble your frame & install the the Eclipse. We also offer nationwide installation service & on-site training, at an additional cost.
